Did you guys have pencil fighting or knuckle thumping in school?

Pencil fighting is when you have regular No. 2 pencils. You bite off the eraser and then bend the metal at the top to make a razor edge. Then you take turns flicking each others pencils, but you can only use wrist movements obviously. If you try to cheat by using your whole arm or body weight, you lose.

Knuckle thumping is when you take turns thumping each others knuckles until the other cries uncle.

I forgot the name but we used to get a 20 cent coin and fling it at each others knuckles on a table.

no, just rubber band shooting paper. Some did the spitball thing. Some did a paper football flicking.

I never really learned how to do any of that, I just did origami to kill time.

Nah, I didn't do none of those.

Back in my school days though, we tried to catch each other off-guard by making an OK-sign under the waist. Anyone who gets caught looking at it will get a punch.

Yes. We did that. We also had this thing where you punch each other in the chest.

The best use of a pencil is to throw it up at the ceiling and see if it would stick.

We had a game similar to knuckle thumping called bloody knuckles, it only really got out of hand when people would hide sharp things between their fingers

I miss playing bloody knuckles where you slammed a quarter into the other person’s knuckles. I wasn’t afraid to bleed so I would win.
