idk i dont watch enough films

Guns and Romance.

Sounds like a remake of Romeo and Juliet, or a band name.

Yea but it's kinda odd that the muscle cars were slower than the tank in this scene. By the looks of it, these muscle cars are customised.

Also, its a tank, why didn't it shoot them?

Well, the real fast and furious i want a movie of is the one involving Obama...
It did. The problem is, it has the aim of the Stormtroopers.

How about spiderlike-robots with 6+ mecha limbs? they are as good at terrain traversal as tracks and can continue function if one of them is destroyed unlike tank with a busted track.

Mechanical complexity and power draw, vulnerability to damage. Think about how you'd power each leg. You'd need Hydraulics or Myolectrics for each limb, that's a lot of Points of Failure. And either system would need a massive onboard generator, either for electricity or hydraulic pressure. The feed pipes for either system would be very vulnerable, and one leak would kill the robot.

Crawler tracks are very easy to power. You can mount the motor directly inside the track, along with it's batteries. And use the track as battle armour. That way all your important parts are as well protected as possible, with no vulnerable lines. And all the weight is located at ground level, which improves grip on any terrain, especially at high speed. And reduces recoil for any weapons you mount.

Or in other words, a tank.

Guess it has to be more "sci fi" ish, and having replicas of the weapons already in use but slightly better just doesn't seem creative enough... apperantly.

Not really. Tank implies a unibody contruction, I'm thinking something more like Red Devil from the video above. I would hinge the tracks off a central body, that way the robot could re-configure itself as needed. Like a mechanical huntsman spider.

Say you're driving on a road. You'd lower the robot for the lowest possible center of gravity, like a tank. For rough terrain you'd raise it, with each of four seperate tracks working like independant suspension. It could climb out of a ditch by lifting it's front tracks like arms. Or "step" over obstacles.

Diction. Most people can't maintain five minutes of a conversation without interjections, correcting themselves, etc.

In movies, well, conversations go as if the people are reading a script. I mean, they are, but you know what I mean.
Turrets.

They're always represented as some kind of impenetrable machine-gun fortress, when in reality they're not nearly that effective.

I would extend that to defenses in general.

Defenses can cost a lot of lives on the attacking side but human history shows they can't win a war single-handedly. You can't turtle behind a wall and wait for your opponent to exhaust themselves. Even if they do exhaust themselves they'll reload, reform and come again ad infinium unless you step forward and take the initiative.

Russia would've still lost WWII if they hadn't gone on the offensive after the Battle of Kursk.

Turrets are the worst-represented defenses though.

If one shows up in a movie, whoever uses it becomes invincible
Guns in general.

Normally, a fully loaded AR would last about 5~6 seconds if you spray and pray. But in movies they seem to last an eternity.

Reload for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake.

Or the endless waves of rounds flying. You're going to blow the gas tube.

And/or overheat the barrel.
