im waiting for my hair to get long enough, its wavy and it looks really ugly if it gets past short and then after it gets long enough it kinda flattens out

Sounds like you're not washing it enough. The longer it gets, the more upkeep it needs. I'd say wash at least every three days, or it'll be a limp mess.
Not according to anime. It also helps if they get moody all the time and whine a lot, when they're not punching with nuclear explosions.

That stereotype may find itself in conflict with the girls who like monster-men, vampires, werewolves, and whatnot. Or rather, what women like about them. But not overly.

In my experience, women prefer a vulnerable side to a man so they can fulfill their own need to be matronly. They don't want to take care of you all the time, but it gives them a place where they can feel secure and important, as well as giving them the sense of control all life needs. "C'mon big guy, the sun's getting real low."

Hulk be good now. Not smash.

Of course, that's only with some women. Possibly a majority, but I'm not here to speak for women.

I think the feminine archetype also resonates with guys who aren't terribly good at being masculine, or have never had the opportunity. "I'm a dark, brooding, candle-lit emo warrior full of pain waiting to be released" seems to go over well with many girls, as long as the guy in question proves to be more than that.

Then, of course, we have the actual gays. Women love them, because they're basically women, but not women in competition with them for mates. No woman wants a perfect female friend. She might make her look bad! Guys have the same problem but not as seriously. There are always other women. You don't need the perfect one, as you haven't invested a bunch of biological resources in an egg. "Good enough" and/or multiple partners will often do.

I could be wrong about some of it, but that's just my two cents on the issue.

My god, what did I just read? "Gay men are basically women"
To be honest, feminine guys with short hair, seem to be more appealing... To whomever is into that thing.

Bleargh

Is there some problem with that? They are. All human fetuses begin life as females. They need a shock dose of testoterone in the womb to develop male organs and give the brain a pattern to develop along. This is why women can sometimes "feel" the gender of their child before it is born.

A second shock is needed at puberty to masculinize the brain, as evidenced by how much little boys act and look like little girls, until they undergo a radical change. The brain recognizes the patterns, as it is a pattern-recognition piece of hardware, and off it goes, sending chemical signals to invert gene expressions and create bio-constucts that will make a male.

If there is a malfunction, or possibly a normal function, and the signal isn't sent during pubescence, the little boy will always be a half-formed girl. This could be an evolutionary adaptation to prevent too many males from being in a society, as they have a tendency to kill each other.

Gays should not feel emasculated by that. Epigenetic evidence shows that their genes are flipped in utero to avoid crating precisely the kinds of males who would kill each other, and the offspring of other males. It's a tragic, but common story in human development. Instead, they go the exact opposite way, becoming nurturers. Evolution always finds a way. Even around its own predilictions, like engineering killing machines.

No reason to take any offense at that, nor any reason to doubt it. Gay men act exactly like women in harems do, albeit with more sexual proclivity. Also seen in male prisoners. They take advantage of what sexual opportunities are available, and the mind forms itself around those. At the very worst, it has found a partner that will preserve it, and the genes that constructed it, so it can take care of more genes. The next-best thing to recreating your own genes is having them survive in some family member by supporting them, and we are all related.

Given all that, yes, gays are basically women. Most are happy to emulate the image as best they can. There is no reason for anyone be offended over mechanics any more than there is to be offended over an internal combustion engine. Life is what it is.
Have you heard Africa by Toto ? Perfection in a song

I don't find "feminine" guys attractive, or long hair appealing. I like average guys. Average is smexy. :)

I can relate to this.
I don't like flamboyant effeminate guys, nor totally bulky hairy strong men, I like just the average person. But good personality, heart & soul come before those though.

Yes. Garfield.
Oh god no. Those two don't mix well because that's like "Prince Charming" from Shrek 2.

And yet we prove again that Shrek is the ideal human body.

With this you are assuming all gays to have a certain personality, that of a "nurturer" which they do not. Sure, some of them do have a maternal aspect or act effeminate or woman-like, but that's a big wild guess to make for all of them. Being one myself and knowing a majority of people that are homosexual that does not mean their personalities are going to be similar just because of one fact. That's the common/stereotypic image that people spit around, while you do have a really clever theory/analysis/point of view, I can agree with all of it except the "nurturers" part - because that is up to personality/attitude and that is not set by those factors - sure, it can be in common on average but certainly it is not. And to add, may aswell consider it a factor against overpopulation, nature yet again! Either way, nice post.
It's like being a spork... sporks are bad at both roles. You can't eat noodles with a freaking spork.

It's either you're a Man or a Trap. No between.

Let me guess. A college girl made this thread
No, I don’t like men with long hair, it’s so feminine. It’s ok if it’s drag queen or transsexual person. My father had long hair many years, my mom hated it.
The best men with feminine and masculine traits are those with good hearts. Not too macho nor too feminine, a perfect males with good balance is good person.
Girls will always be accepted by me if they are feminine or not.
Personally I want this
