I suck at every game I play.
I've been playing video games for a decade, and I still suck at every. single. one.

The closest to being good is on TF2, where I am either pretty good or horrible, Fallout New Vegas where I can't play above normal difficulty, (I've never tried but judging how normal is for me heck no), and that's about it.

I've played all sorts of games, Insurgency, Dota 2, CoD, Age of Mythology, TF2, Racing, and all sorts of other games.

Any reason why I can't be good at any of them?

The important thing is; are you having fun? You don't suck if you're having fun.

Does it matter?

I mean, you can still enjoy single player games on easier difficulties, MP is a problem. Play games in the way you enjoy them, if something is way too hard, lower the difficulty and don't feel bad about it.

You are not the only one. I have almost 1k hours on Dota 2, I'm still level 8 lol I gave up on comp or normal matches because I'm so bad, I now play modes only. I have so much fun. I play normal matches when I play with friends since they are good so I don't think it's important to be good to have fun.

Are you having fun? If not, try some other hobbies.

I'm not sure what your goal is and what you're attempting to achieve but I've played competitively for a few games that are E-sports games.

I cannot say what you're doing wrong but i can tell you what you may want to implement in order to get better. This is applicable to any game.

(1) You must learn the mechanics of it and master it - this includes, movement and shooting physics.

(2) You must learn the maps and get an intuition developed for each one of them.

(3) Daily practice and playing is recommended but do not overdo it.

(4) Identify your mistakes and try to fix this as soon as possible.

(5) Understand the other players' perspectives and how you can counter that to gain an advantage.

Resources vary per game, and it's up to you to find, learn and implement them.

I find competitive games fun and rarely do i ever have fun playing where lower dexterity is required.

You need to figure out what you are doing wrong, and consciously try to improve in those areas. There are different parts that come together, like knowledge, skill, experience, muscle memory, hardware, settings, keybinds, sensitivity, etc. A lot of ways to get better at a game.

Configuration is important and i should've mentioned that as well.

Another thing to note is that, you shouldn't play competitively if you have a potato PC.

I'm also thinking it could be because Im really slow.

Like the game I'm best at is TF2, and I have over 1000 hours in it. Other games I have like 10.
Don't feel bad about it, just play single player games.
I've been playing games since the late 80's and i still suck at multiplayer games.
I have over 100 hours in PUBG and i don't have 1 chicken dinner yet, it must be some kind of record.

Not everyone can be good at things....

^This 100%

Welcome to the club.... ( lol, someone should make a group for us ) I too suck at every game.

And?

Having fun is the key... not everyone can be an artist.. or a musician.. or a poet, or a "gamer".
As long as I entertain myself... that's what counts.

... thank God too.... becuse my kids have decovered "Fortnite" and want me to play with them... and I suck at it and probably always will... ( along with PUBG, Arma's King of the Hill, ect, ect, ect...)

But even if we place #36th and we have fun... we're happy doing what we do.... lmao
