Nintendo Switch micro sd card?
So i game and use my pc and wii u but my wii u died so bought a switch

Anyway i also got a sandisk 64 micro sd card for it

My question is do i need to format it first and to what file system ecample NTFS or FAT32 or another one and what Allocation unit size

The best way is to let the switch format it. That way it's 100% compatible then.

The Switch can auto-format up to a 2TB MicroSD (which does not exist quite yet) as long as it hasn't recieved any partitions. Nintendo consoles use FAT32 allocations, but again, a formatted MSD will be automatically set up once plugged in. And if you copy files from one Switch Micro SD onto a new formatted drive, that new drive will be automatically set up for the Switch. I just swapped out my 64GB for a 200GB and after copy/pasting the files, everything worked again.
