Old video but it's still amusing. I was secretly hoping the kangaroo would have stared him down after that punch and then just wail on the guy.

Looks like a guy defending his dog which the kangaroo was kicking while using a headlock. What kind of bloke would not defend his dog from an attack such as this?

It's a pretty good and reasonable reaction which resolved the problem pretty quickly. Good on him. Another kangaroo would of done the same against each other in the wild, fighting for breeding ground or to protect it's own Joeys. So to the kangaroo that's actually normal behaviour and is at least more of a temporary shock than physical damage.

If a kangaroo ever gets you in a choke hold, tickle his belly. When the kangaroo starts laughing, he'll let go and you can then put the kangaroo in a choke hold in return. I'm not sure what you would do after that though...maybe a knee to the stomach or something?

Oh, you mean the video where a drunk Aussie smacked a wild animal and some how managed to not get his guts kicked out? Yeah... That video was disappointing. I wanted him to learn a valuable lesson while the roo cleaned up the genepool.
