Now I don't have much of a clue what your friend would like, you know them far better than I ever could, but I'd like to point out the "Captchalogue Dry Erase Boards" on topatoco and the Art Prints (there is a separate section for HIVESWAP) on whatpumpkinstore might be good bets.

How do they feel about Hiveswap? If they don't own it, even if they're worried it's going to be bad, it might be worthwhile to gift them it. Just make sure to ask if they play games on PC first. (Disclaimer: I know basically nothing about Hiveswap)

As far as Homestuck related stuff goes, I've heard that Paradox Space had some sort of paid game or Virtual Novel but I can't find anything about it when I try to look it up. I swear there was a paywall or something at some point. I'm probably confused about it because I never paid any attention to it.
