All new Bathesda published games have frame pacing issues above 60fps?
Have you noticed this? I guess you probably woudn't have if you have more than a 60hz monitor but every bathesda game I own like Dishonored 2, Prey, and DOOM 2016 have frame pacing issues above 60fps DOOM is less noticable but it is still there. The weird thing is I don't even think DOOM runs on the same engine... Anyways why do you guys think this is?

Fallout is fine for me, maybe some dips in fps here and there but for the most part it runs very smoothly
I have no problem going above 60 fps in fallout or doom.

What about Prey or Dishonored 2?
Have you fully disabled Vsync?

I use fast sync
That would be why then.

Why?
You’re using an unsupported type of video synchronisation for their engines.

Requiring a form a frame synchronization is a sign of a ♥♥♥♥ engine...
Cool story bro. Code your own 3D Engines for a living then.

The game engine's speed is tied to framerate. Anything past 60 FPS tends to cause bugs, usually physics-related IIRC.

DOOM isn't a Bethesda game.

Therefore it isn't a Bethesda game, it's an id Software game
