Good games, 2003-2019 for Intel HD Graphics 630 on high-ultra settings ?
Anyone who had no choice but to play games with intel hd only for some days, pls help me !!!
I have some troubles with my bios or nvidia drivers, unable to install them, so for a week or so, until i find out a solution, i am interested in playing some older or even some of the newer games, that can go on high settings.
My laptop have 8 gb rams ddr4 and i5 7th, windows 10 pro.
An example of what i have tried, cs go run with only 20 fps, and lower at times, on highest, without nvidia.
I'd be more interested in mmo's or rpg/adventure games to play, from what you recommend me xD

Mass Effect. All 3.
Three. Because the fourth one doesn't exist.
You speak my language.

I did check myself some youtube clips about what games can intel hd run and is almost totally inacurate, or maybe is for pc version of intel hd 630, because there it sais that i can run just cause 2 on med settings with 40+ fps and i cannot run it even on lowest settings and resolution with more than 10 fps, i did try it.
Also about r6s as well, with 30+ fps or better, but won't go with more than 15 fps, and since season 4 arrived, only 7 fps, so i quit that one as well, but instead, soul calibur 6 works nice on 50 fps with all on low-med and 720p, batman origins as well, yet far cry primal works only with 10 fps, but still playable, yet i don't want to force the note so i won't play it atm xD
Half life 2 works with 100+ fps, all high and 720p, saints row 3 with 30-40 fps with med settings, unreal tournament 3 works nice as well on 40 fps or so, all high, as well for spyx or something like this, with a golem that can cast magic, and gameplay like assassin's creed series.
But i still gotta check some more gameplays from these links, maybe some of them would work just fine, on 720p the maximum res i can use for decent fps xD
That's weird, my laptop with UHD620 runs csgo at 40-60 fps at 1080p low in Dust 2. Also it runs MGSV at around 20 fps, AC4 Black Flag at 15-30fps avg. hd630 is almost identical to uhd620 about 5% weaker in comparison. You shouldn't run any background processes. Cut down everything except anti-virus

I run cs go at high settings except shadders on low, and 720p, and it runs ok at 40 fps, I also can run nice on 720p as well, as most games, dragon age origins and half life 2 i htink i mentioned that i run it with high settings and 100+ fps.
Also two worlds works just nice with high settings, i didn't test yet ac4 black flag since i reinstalled the windows, but i want to play that game on highest settings, i am way too attarcted of that game's graphics for some reason and i don't want to play it on low.
As for mass effect series and some other listed games here, i guess they have to wait few months, until i solve up my stuffs in real life and i will save on my card 20-30 euros, in order to buy them (I gave away long ago my old games's dvd's to some friends, since i fallen in mmo gaming so i didn't really played too many games on those times, only a little of call of duty, battlefield and cyisis, i think prince of persia games as well and some more, but not too much, only when i took breaks from mmo's (I just enjoyed them for free, i'm not the type of player that buy cosmetics or power-ups, is just stupid, in my opinion, and also those were and still are for me, really good mmo's, like 12sjy 2, aion..., I just enjoyed them) and this laptop doesn't use dvd, usb only, or net xD.
I did bought long ago majesty, mass effect and some other games, but from phisical stores, on dvd, old times, before 2012's maya apocalypse xD
So..wellll....I guess that i have to reduce my gaming time and stick with only few that i have and works just fine, from my entire collection, until summer or who knows when i can get a decent pc, on 1,5k euros at least.
Edit: i forgot that in the past i used to play among what i have mentioned above, nfs games, fifa games and some fighting games like mugen games, with friends or solo, not only fps games xD.

So the next PC you own, probably should be a stand alone tower desktop system.

One you build yourself, as its really not hard at all.

For all of the games you have talked about, and how this thread has evolved, the PC you have now is basically a dinosaur, and a cheap Tower could blow it away for gaming, the dearest part the video card, so in some cases its worth saving up for.

I appreciate life is never that simple with money, I was once not as well off as I am now, but its something worth thinking about and saving and working towards, add up your time on the PC and compare it to your time on the TV, now consider your PC can also become your TV with one extra PCE card, and most tower PCs have ample slots, so effectively if you wanted to use your PC as your lounge entertainment system, it can do everything, better than any smart TV ever will, and when your talking about an asset thats basically the bulk of your out of work entertainment, then its worth putting money into that asset, even more so true if you also use the PC for work.

My system at home is a tower gaming rig, but its also my TV, I have a sony 100mhtz 71inch TV that its plugged into, the TV is a one of cost, never needs updating but it was 3 grand, 5 years ago, the PC I built in 2015, cost me about 2200 at the time but it was the best CPU you could literally buy at the time and best video card also, its still running everything today, like its brand new.

Run most games at high setting still, the select few top end games at medium etc.

Its worth the investment if you do it your self and do it with the right parts.
It doesnt have to be expensive, I was aiming for top end games, you are just aiming for mid range, so the cost for you to do something like this is way cheaper.

Food for thought for the future.

Cos the one you got now, is basically rated to play games like Tetris and pong and Doom 1.
16 bit tech, trying to run 32 and 64 bit tech for a bad analogy.!

Kinda long reply xD
I did read everything and i agree with you, that building a pc by yourself would be the smartest choice, but the components are kinda over-priced except holyday sales, also i don't intend to get the latest beast either, only one that can run single player games on highest settings bu with 60 fps for smooth gameplay.
My mistake was that i allways forgot to buy a cooler, the entire year, and as my laptop sat on desk while playing battlefield, r6s, final fantasy or other games for more than 2-3 hours, my gpu stopped working.
I can still run some nice games on my laptop, even if on lower settings and resolution, but until 2017 i used to play all games within 800x600 or 1024x658 i think, i was very pleased playing those, didn't really ever felt the taste of high/ultra settings on 1080p, this feeling was for me like how cars were for humanity, before 19th century, to go anywhere on greater speed than walking and carryinglike 3k kg's, is a wow.
So...i never liked to play games under year 2000, except cs 1.6, yet i did played on that old pc most games that appeared between 2000-2008, hundreds (mostly cracked, to test if they work ok and if i enjoy them, but chill, i bought cd's and dvd's with my favourite games and since last year i gave up completely to get cracked games, i just buy them within 10-15 euros , on sales)
I used to spend most of my time, back in 2008-2015, on mmorpg games, metin2, 12sky2.....
And yeah, i try to save up in 2020 to gett a decent gaming pc, somewhere around 1500-2000 euros and play on it for 5 years or more, and in 2022-2025, i will get a mobo and an cheap 512 mb-1 gb gpu for my first pc and i will try to fix it and for the secondand my latest pc from 2010, a gpu 2 gb+ and 2x2 gb ram ddr2 to repair it as well myself.
Maybe you wonder why i bother myself to repair my older pc's wich can run decently games that were gold, like prince of persia games, devil my cry games and some more, between 2000-2008 and some past 2008, just because i have no ideea how to and i want to learn from someone i know that run a pc service, so i will be able to fix my own pc by myself.
And the second reson why i want to fix my older pc's is becuse they were my best friends and gifts from my parents :)
Whenever i was sad or depressed, when i was little and no ''friend'' of mine could hug me or sweet-talk to me on those times, i just watched cartoons and animes on tv and played my pc games, even now, when i am an adult, i still love watching animations, movies and playing games, lots of things to learn, languages, accents and in games there is another +, reflexes and memory training , also, socializing with different peoples from different countries, muting toxics and spending time and share fun, with friends, be them real friends or net friends ;)

Edit: i found already a very good pc on 1500 euros, with monitor and key+mouse included, and another pc that is goody enough on 1k euro, just the pc, gotta buy the rest separately and that would be a little under 200 euros gaming chair not included, nor needed, a directorial chair around 50 euros would suffice for me, and they can run any game on 100+ fps, even battlefield 5 on ultra, 1080p, wich is enough for me.

Considered one of those small mini air conditioners you can get online, plop it a meter away from PC on table and it will cool the whole thing.
