No. No service offers that. You want it on Steam, you have to purchase it on/for Steam.

Quite a long time ago.

I'm sure you people will quite enjoy it, especially if you like Red Dead redemption. The game is incredibly beautiful, full of vibrant life, an excellent story, and very solid gameplay. As you would expect from a rockstar game.

My Xbox one is very happy with it. I was never remotely interested in multiplayer.

Apart from the inescapable fact steam is still the number 1 game platform many sales for their current top title on any pc storefront platform actually came well after initial release often during sales.
So a month, even a year is nothing when you consider most sales come much much further down the road.

I am hoping they do something very much like what they did with Red Dead redemption and created DLC that is amazing, another undead nightmare type game conversion.

Wait until it launches. Then look at reviews to make sure it's not awful. Then if everything is fine, go ahead and either buy it or wait for a sale.

Waiting for a sale or for issues to be fixed would at least make sense. Waiting for it to be on steam does not make any sense at all in this case, especially if you are just going to pay full price for it either way.

Reasons to want any game on Steam: Convenience, a +1 to Steam library, Steam broadcast, Steam Link, Steam achievements and trading cards (possibly), easy access to friends/community features.

The Rockstar Social Club has achievements, community hub, community content, friends list, emblem editor, crew editor, exclusive pre-order bonuses, stat tracking and an events calendar.

You can broadcast non-Steam games.

If you prefer the Steam features, that's your preference.

You get more for your money with ordering through Rockstar social club. they upgrade the standard edition 2 deluxe give you a couple other pre-order bonuses, you can preload the game and you get a free older Rockstar game.

I originally downloaded it through epic store and then felt ripped because I thought some pre-order stuff came with it but I wasn't reading the right stuff and you can't preload so I asked for a return and they gave it to me no questions asked and bought it through rockstar instead

the problem with Red dead 2 on Steam and EPIC is that having the game on one platform means youve tied over the other because the rockstar game account you need to have in order to play it will be assigned to either your Steam or Epic account depending on what you choose so if you buy the game on Epic then get it again on Steam im not sure you would be able to play it on Steam without making another account and registering the game key to that account

Bought GTAV at release for me and my brother on Steam. Nothing against Steam, but there's really nothing extra that they offer that I care much about. Just the other day, wanted to see if I could launch straight from R* launcher, and of course it told me I need Steam running. Which is more a turn off to me than a benefit.

The only thing I remotely care about on Steam are the 'chieves. But even that, Valve put literally little to no effort into them and they've officially declined to improve that feature anyways. People cheat them easily, many end up broken or unobtainable. Any time a 'chieve is broken, the devs try to blame Steam, Steam blames the devs and nothing gets done, so it's pointless anyways.

Never played any of the RDR franchise, looking forward to getting it for me and my brother at, or close to, release, and I NEVER buy games at release tbh. But yeah, it has nothing to do with love or hate for anybody, I just don't wanna have to run twelve programs...

Does like say ubisoft, GTAV show up in your rockstar library ?

If it does, did you install it via that library rather than steams ?

Get it on Rockstar launcher, mate. As I said above, it has all the features you could want.

The Steam overlay hasn't been updated for years, sometimes the browser doesn't even work neither does the broadcast feature.

They only got around to updating the library on Steam after people requested it for years.

Buying it from Rockstar social club annoys me though because its another launcher I have to start using and my account would need to be separated from the one I use for GTA V on steam otherwise if I do get the game on Steam theyll get mixed up
