Most people here on OT are anti-Fortnite, so I'd suggest finding other players elsewhere.
Taking bets, who here thinks op is most likely a kid?

Doesn't make much diff when it comes to gaming skills, some kids own adults when it comes to gaming. They also have more time to practice.

Anyways, you should probably just play the game, find players you enjoyed playing with ingame or even against and offer to add them after the match. This way, you can already tell if you would get along, also be on the same server without lag, etc.

Another thing you could do is teaching your friends some tricks and tips to improve. Help them out a bit, perhaps then they won't be so noob. They could learn a thing or two, just take it easy and enjoy playing the game at the same time.

Its not against the skill of op, just the way op posted here.
Just advertising. That's why.

The skills difference is substantial when involving games that require deep strategy, very high teamwork, and constant team communication. Kids just make it impossible for me to win with all their screaming and nonsense talk with their mic.

You could always mute them.

True but that only solves one of the problem sadly. Right now I have learnt to accept the depressing fact that some of my squad members will give me important information by how and where they die.

You will be surprised.

When I played World of Warcraft. I joined a guild which had a great leader, setting up the raids and missions to go upon. Real skilled player. Then one day he got a mic and squeaked. He was a 12 year old, gaming along side his father (who owned and managed a separate guild). So he clearly had learnt from his dad, but did extremely well for himself. The thing is, no one actually knew he was a kid, till he spoke on the mic.

Sure there's a bunch of immature kids screaming down the mic, but that's just the loudest ones making the biggest noise and stereotyping the rest into. I would honestly say there are more 21 year olds than 12 year old gamers, that act immature in games.
