Is the iPhone overpriced or worth it?

I own a Samsung Galaxy S7 which has far superior technical specifications to iPhones, but they cost twice as much as my S7, have way lower screen resolutions, way less RAM, etc.

I know, they're so expensive because iOS is apparently optimised and the hardware is made specially for the iPhone, but my S7 still performs better than the iPhone.

A thousand USD for a phone? That costs more than my PC which can max out any new game out there. Yes, I can run all games on max settings in full HD, at more than 60 FPS.

So, are the iPhones really worth it or just overpriced? I've never had one and honestly, I'd love to try it to make a change, as I've been using Android for almost a decade.

Thanks in advance, and please don't respond if you don't know what you're talking about. I don't really want to argue with people who just come to spread hate on phones for no reason.

You're right that products can have problems but ppl should heed the warnings in reviews and tests.

There are endless youtube reviews and tests do your homework and don't buy ♥♥♥♥, sony has always been a name brand and marketed its' name like iPhone it doesn't mean sony is any good.

Don't expect any more of my time buying into your waste of time.

You don't have an idea, that's blatant. There have been Android devices with that problem, so your point is WRONG. You're the one that came here only to talk nonsensical crap about some Apple phones.

Sony does have some good phones, you just don't get it. I doubt you even understand the CPUs used in them and such. I'm not going to comment / talk crap about "your" phone. I have nothing towards it unlike you.

I don't buy junk, that phone had seen extensive usage and it only suffered from that problem for a small amount of time. You're the one that needs to stop wasting people's time.

Lol talk about good business...marketing someone else's hard work for a higher price to people who've never heard of it.

You know the app store which people thought was revolutionary? Look everyone! We never have to download anything from the web ever again! It's all in the app store!

Linux did it first, they have been doing this from the very beginning with their download centers :P

Sure maybe people copied. But they didn't sell it for so much. No one had computers in the 70s or 80s, so maybe they were expensive yes. But not THIS expensive! Proportionately as in

The very first Apple computer, the Apple 1 was sold for $666 in 1976 which is about $3000 today. :/

Computers were quite a lot more expensive back then.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it, but I wish you didn't start arguing over this, it's pointless. Anyway, I guess I'll try the iPhone some day to see if it's as good as a lot of people say.

OMG yes, Apple WAS expensive in the 80s compared to what people made back then.
Yes those prices seem cheap today, but you'd have to factor in average salaries back in those days too. Plus what you were actually getting for the prices paid.

Schools for example today can afford to outfit a class room and library with cheap Windows PC from Dell/HP. They couldn't afford to buy very many Apple II though in the 80s; and that is what my father did on the side; he was an Apple specialist and reseller focusing on the needs of Work, Pros and School's needs back in the 70s and 80s where Apple Computers were concerned. He was also their go-to-guy for any Tech Support regarding those systems.

SO.... why would you talk about iPhone vs Android? It is based on what people's need, it is? I will just tell my opioion about phone. I feeling that Motorola is good for businessman, it has no all fancy software (which is useless since there already have chromecast) no un-need button, etc. Iphone would be good for working, such as supervisor job.
