watch the episode with miley cyrus, great one.
I was pleasantly surprised with that episode because I've only ever known Miley Cyrus as a musician (having never watched Hannah Montana), and had no idea of her skills as an actor. But it is also a pretty topical episode, what with how we let technology into our lives. (I realize that last bit is Black Mirror in a nutshell, but am being ambiguous so as not to spoil the plot.)
I read somewhere that kids can't read an analogue clock, They're so used to digital.
I wonder if kids still have to work out math problems with a pen and paper or if they use a calculator or their phone.
I don't think humanity is going "forward".
and the multiple posts filled with raging transphobes arguing in bad faith remain unlocked, as always. and who says mods cannot be biased?
she is a pretty good actor! i was never really watching her disney shows or enjoying her musics, so i would not mind if perhaps she would wishing to be getting into the world of acting more. i definitely enjoyed that episode.
"the twilight zone" is one of my favourite series of all time, tied with "twin peaks". and black mirror taking heavy inspiration from the twilight zone means i rather enjoy it as well.
i think black mirror is definitely more "hit or miss" overall, there are some really awful episodes. but many good ones as well
they will, their lives are being so meaningless that they seek out conflict and things to be getting angry about.

Coincidentally, I've been watching a lot of Twilight Zone lately, and recently rewatched the one with Dennis Hopper. My goodness, talk about "topical".
The very first episode of Black Mirror (with the pig) makes me squeamish. What a way to begin a series. "The Entire History of You" (I think it's the second episode? I don't want to have to look.) is frightening, but that one hits hard, as I used to have an obsessive person like that.
