Just updated my kernel(s) both on my primary OS and my recovery OS. Dracut generated a dud initramfs during update in both cases. I mean, it worked.. kind of. Except that it couldn't unlock my disk (LUKS) to boot because the fido u2f module wasn't included in the initramfs in both cases. Which means the hardware key cannot be used. (Even if you have correct password, no go. Not unlocking.)

Yeah, I was wondering if the hardware key could be used.

...That's when I decided that I want part ways. Hurt like hell, once again but surely a better option in the long run.

Of course, not giving up might have been an option too. Maybe being more understanding for the partner and accept that "trait" and find a way to not get agitated?... True. I asked this from myself at the end of our relationship and somehow I felt, that I don't have enough of will and energy left. Maybe not enough of love? I also felt that again, I'm the one who's investing but not getting enough in return. So I gave up.
