I am confused as to why my niece or her friend or something, gave me a bag of candy and sweets. I can hardly tell my niece from other girls, I see them so rarely.

People always give me, or want me to have sweets, when I'm on a forever diet.

Even this can of ice tea has corn syrup as the second ingredient.

I thought it was a rule of gifting. Give something sweet to someone sweet. Of course that saying existed before partially hydrogenated corn syrup. It should be updated for safety reasons.
