Literal epic, indeed.

They don't make films like this anymore. Though obviously white actors in brownface playing the Muslim characters is distasteful.

I keep meaning to watch the more recent miniseries.

seriously. we already have a traveler who traveled across africa and asia while avoiding death many times and doing all of the side quests (referring to ibn battuta), two real life chads fighting for the holy land (baldwin and saladin. kingdom of heaven is probably one of the best epic with muslims in it). and now we have what is essentially one of those "last bloodline" hero stories.

to think about it, if the next elder scrolls game does really take place in hammerfell, that would be real wild.

I know maraschino cherries are not actually related to the marasca cherry or the maraschino liquor made from them, but I kind of expected there to be at least a little resemblance.

Or maybe this bottle of Luxardo was stored in a charcoal cask by mistake. Because it tastes like plain charcoal.
