i mean the focus on white light/white heat and heroin just before the release of the white album, for a band that was bascially nothing from beginning to end, was pretty odd. like the entire album is just kingbot pretending his in the hotel room in apocalypse now and crapping out songs about heroin as a robot that can't take any drugs besides like ionized salts and magnetic crowns. literally doing saline solution injections into its hydraulics then writing about heroin.

like their most-successful song is probably venus in furs, and afaik it was pre-written and handed to them based on the massive hype the book was getting. which was also just a rewrite of a summary of desade's work that got rejected by publishers (they were later sued for plagarizing the work with venus in furs.)

heavy machine music sounds like it plagarized modern noise by just holding a recorder up to someone's album. both conspicuously developed in form and also completely lacking any original process or curation or thought. again kingbot's terrible monobrain flattening out noise to make a plastic wrapper on some ♥♥♥♥ it stole from the underside of its chassis.

also you're thinking of cambodia, widely considered China's first major failure at conducting external propaganda. largely because the us and russia used it as a test-bed for ideological proxy wars and managed to implicate china long after the fact when the khmer rouge ideology spread there in the form of the red guard. which also was bolstered primarily by english propaganda efforts.

most powermetal is just playing basic flute allegros.

compositionally metal is usually a mixture of brasses and silvers and steeldrums. isn't uncommon for the guitar/bass to be used primarily to provide juxtaposition and as an over-dominant wood hybrid.

For example, "Ecstasy of Gold" from Metallica's S&M2 album. I want this to play when my casket's put in the ground, it's that good.
