no, its better I get nothing, not that I have no love for this child. its because its a better story. about a young man in this youth and poverty, who read too many ,lost his mind. chose a cynic path.

Pretty much every culture produced some concept similar to what was depicted in The Matrix. Greeks had Selene and the allegory of the cave. Hebrews eventually had Lilith etc, who is clearly part of an ontological and psychological allegory. Buddhists had Indra's net. Early Christianity had gnosticism. There are some others I'm forgetting. But yeah, that general "row row row your boat [...] life is but a dream" ie "keep them asleep" template applies.

Imagine yourself doing something, visually, and invoke the other senses as you're able. Create the feeling state of doing it. Your body and mind will start moving to do it automatically. I got to a certain point where I had to force the different "bodies" back together (aetheric double perhaps) and literally use the imagination or I couldn't do anything. The body wouldn't move, I had no will and no basis to connect a will to it either.

Realized I'm making the wrong choices again. Doing the wrong thing. I think some environments are just too stressful in all the wrong ways. Feels not right, in the back of my mind.

When I am on vacation to tip at restaurants. Even then, it is $40 tops.

Yeah, it's different these days - I literally never carry cash myself.

Vacation gives me an idea, though - certain groups of people who don't trust banks would be fairly well grouped yet secluded during initial arrival/departure at their destination 🤔

obviously, arrival is the target window because spending has not occurred yet
