thinking about how I used to be able to take solace in forces outside of the earthly realm, until I learned even entropy and chaos itself was god's personal douche.

I find the residual chaos of the universe he can't or won't touch unsatisfying, spiritually, as a source of inspiration or hope. a blanket nothingness would have been preferable.

I think a lot of people are struggling with such things right now.
