Steam Overlay in OBS?

Title, I need to fix this. I've searched EVERYWHERE on Google and everything. I've found nothing. I don't like OBS capturing my Steam overlay. >:(

Well if you’re recording, then tell your friends not to bother you.

I’m not saying to stop THEM from playing games. Just tell at least some of them to not bother you while recording. If they message you, just ignore it.

I can't control that notifications of them pop up. :/
And before you say go to settings, I like it so where I can see it. I use Shift+Tab alot, too.

either that or go offline in steam so the pop ups wont show

Did you open OBS via Steam? If so, try opening it by itself, but not through Steam.

Sources > Game Capture > Properties > Uncheck "Capture third-party overlay (such as steam)"
