Is it really so in Taiwan?

Hi. I've heard/read Taiwan has a open Otaku-Society with barely any crime and mostly happy people. There are no social outsiders because you always have some buddys to watch Anime, play games or swimming on the sea/lake (there are mostly good weather). Also the peoples there have no problem if you act wired (screaming "Gasai Yuno is my Waifu") or similiar due to the open Otaku-Society. The most popular music there is Vocaloid, Nightcore and Pop. Are all of these things true or does I err me?

Every society has its outsiders and Taiwan is no exception. When I went, people did have problems when I screamed out my love towards my 2D husbando, and they all just like regular old pop music while nightcore and vocaloid were reserved for the most degenerate weeaboos (in my opinion, at least).
