How demanding is discord to run?
I'm thinking of redownloading discord but I'd like to know how much extra work it's gonna put my computer under. When I'm gaming I'm at around 50-60% memory usage and I am VERY paranoid about overworking my computer. I just wanna make sure having discord running won't overstress my computer. (Please use simple words because I know NOTHING about computers.)

if you turn off notifications + disable hardware acceleration, it doesn't use that much resources

Discord barely uses any data to run.
It's kinda drained processor power when my 20+ guildmates talking altogether, tested with my old dualcore HTPC playing WoW, a bit more stuttering than usual. But if you have Ryzen or at least nice pure dualcore like Haswell G3220 then it'll have no issue ..

My potato notebook with 2GB of ram and 32GB of space was able to handle it fine.
The discord client is basically another browser, but a specialized one obviously.
