I don't get the hate on female characters in games

BF:V for example, a lot of people are crying and complaining over how there's a "cyborg" (actually a prosthetic that was used during ww2) women in it. Then there was also CoD:WW2 with it's playable female characters

And no I'm not a "SJW" or any of that crap, I'm just a gamer looking for games to play, and i honestly do not get it when people argue about stuff like this

funnily enough i complain about "forced" female main characters in movies sometimes, but never when they're in games

Also I forgot to say that the majority of gamers don't dislike, let alone hate female characters. ♥♥♥♥, some of the most iconic characters in gaming are women. Peach, Samus, Lara Croft, Cortana, Ellie, etc.

What people tend to dislike is the politics behind adding a woman into a game.

CoD and Medal of Honor had females in their games in the early days based in WWll. Nobody seem'd to care and neither did I.

Also forgot to include I dislike how Battlefield V was shown on what was on the trailer. It didn't deliver like Battlefield 1 did. If Battlefield is going to target WWll, it can't be changed with roles and sugar coated and not censored, especially with games now and days, excluding Wolfenstein.

She was moving the arm's fingers. Take a look. The trailer is more steampunk than World War 2. If you have the research, show it.

It really doesn't bother me but I just shake my head when it messes with the historical accuracy of the game. This also applies to other things such as cyborgs in WWII, regardless of their gender.
Also, remaking just for the sake of adding a Fe in front of male ( I'm looking at you Ghostbusters ) just makes me sad.

I don't care if a game character is male or female, the last couple of Tomb Raider games were really cool and Lara was just as capable as any male character.
If a game has a create a character i usually make a man because i'm y'know, male.

Black female nazis and disabled people (i.e people with prosthetics who werent able to fight) arent very desirable

In the case of BF1 because it breaks immersion. Disabled woman with braveheart facepaint don't belong in WW2.

Cod 2 or 1 believe had some woman in the red army in Stalingrad i believe which makes sense

In the case of COD WW1 people were mad because you can play as a black woman on the Nazi side which obviously would never happen in a million years. I honestly don't care but a lot of people felt like it was forced diversity for the sake of making everyone happy.
But to be honest i can see why they did it, people nowadays get upset and offended by EVERYTHING so they put black women in the game because they knew some idiot would complain if they didn't.
