I don't get the hate on female characters in games

BF:V for example, a lot of people are crying and complaining over how there's a "cyborg" (actually a prosthetic that was used during ww2) women in it. Then there was also CoD:WW2 with it's playable female characters

And no I'm not a "SJW" or any of that crap, I'm just a gamer looking for games to play, and i honestly do not get it when people argue about stuff like this

funnily enough i complain about "forced" female main characters in movies sometimes, but never when they're in games

I don’t think they were ever deployed, I could be wrong though

The majority of the women were in medical roles, but many were in combat roles.

I think this is likely some asian JRPG/MMORPG problem, because i can't recall this in the modern times of World Of Warcraft for example. I do agree with Vanilla, there were some.. "interesting" breastplates, i used to make a fortune on the auction house with them lmao.

I can't remember the last game with actual "female sexy armor" lately, except Conan Exiles but the entire universe is.. likely sexy and bloody so.

There's also one that has the female character demand to have the same armor types, and then the last panel has male character ultra happy about being able to show off his sixpack and pecs.

Did you even see the trailer, there's not a single hint that it would be historically accurate, nor has DICE claimed that BFV would be historically accurate (the multiplayer, atleast)

Same goes to COD:WW2 imo, the females were only in multiplayer, which was never meant to be historically accurate. I honestly disliked people because of that, WW2 was a good game, it's just that it was foreshadowed with the whole SJW and lootbox / mxtransaction arguments

Correct, I can't. Games like Battlefield aren't really my type and I don't know much about them, so I'll rely on your knowledge.
I didn't mean to sound like I am against a single character in a game that has not even come out yet. I was talking about historical games in general. I admit sometimes a game can be fun even if not accurate, but there's still that thought in the back of my head about the lack of accuracy.

They only said REALISTIC, which is far away from being HISTORICAL ACCURATE, i tried to explain this endless times on OT, it doesn't get to people, atleast to those before.

It is the most realistic BF game, with all the new physical interactions. Period.

And i already said that the MP wasn't meant to be historical accurate, i mean look at BF1.

Well DICE never really said that they were going for historical accuracy, compared to sledgehammer with their whole "immersion and accuracy" in the WW2 trailer, which sparked the Amazing outrage it had when female characters were revealed

But this is something completely different. You need your additional immersion, you care about the accuracy, which is fine, but things can't work that way in a Multiplayer FPS. But some people legit just cry out BUT FEMALES AND CUSTOMIZATION...!

That is the actual issue. BF1 had pretty good warstories and i believe they were historical accurate and it won't be different with BF5. But the hate people produce about a videogame, especially about a trailer is mindblowing.

It just got announced. The only info i can give is @ E3, because i might end up playing it anyway, if there is a booth. I think you might confuse this game with another title.

first we didnt get ww games for ages , and only the same modern shooters with FN P90s HK Mp7 and the other weapons that everyone knows

now devs make ww2 games but still manage to make them suck

Realism does not apply to historical accurate moments. They never said that. Can you give me a source? They said it is the most realistic BF game is far and yes, it is, in terms of gameplay, graphics, sounds and all the new physical interactions.
