Razer is basically scamming people

Razer sells common -If you play video games often, dialy- stuff for some RIDICULOUS prices! Let's take my current headphones. What i currently use is a 20$ Philips with a microphone, and i am happy with it. But Razer on the other hand, sells the same thing in similiar quality, dipped in lime color, and it's 100 Dollars! Why? because it has a Razer logo on it. And Razor is not the only company who does that either. Other clothing companies like Nike and Adidas does the same thing too. Then why am i not bashing them too? Because people don't buy or want them as much as Razer. If you have a Nike T-shirt no one will bat an eye but if you have ANYTHING with Razer logo on it you'll look extremely wealthy and good at videogames.

So here is my question: Why do people like those ugly, eye-bleeding lime green headsets this much? Just Why?

Here is my headset very very far from being lime green in color. The headband is made of metal wrapped in a comfort padding. I tried cheap ones 10 to 50 dollars ones and the sound was so crappy and had no bass at all and at full volume they sounded so bad and distorted and staticy at full volume that i couldn't stand them. So i tried out a pair of razers headsets and and my mind was blown away by the sound at full volume.
They are nice and loud so loud that my wife can hear the words from music from 20 feet away. I also can use them on my phone via a otg adapter so i can use my headset while driving to work as i don't want to play loud music at 5am.

But i never had a problem with them. Yes i'm in my right mind when i bought them as i didn't like the sound quality of cheap made target or walmart headsets that have a VL built in to them to "protect" my hearing. I don't need a company telling me how loud i'm allowed to listen to my music. Like on samsung phones if you you go past a certain volume level you get a warning that pops up saying listening at high volumes can damage your hearing. And you have to click ok to go to a higher volume everytime. So i had that disabled as i don't need samsung being a big brother and telling me how loud i can listen to my music.But i have had no problems and love this very comfortable pair of headsets.

i agree, compared to any other headsets i've ever head, my razer headset is the most comfortable and high quality sounding, for not that much money compared to some of the more high-tier headphones out there. and i doubt they'll break for a long time unless I accidently crush them or something.

That is what i have is the razer kraken 7.1 v2 and i love how loud they are.

mine werent 7.1 , they were the cheap ones that cost around 40-60€ ( i think they are now called "mobile" ) was a neon red one

1. If you're not willing to do the research for quality products, that's on you, can't blame them for something you couldn't take a minute, or two to google search, or even ask on the online hardware community forum for advice.

2. They can price things whatever they want, that's just how the market works, there's no law they can't price things how they want from the start, or how low, or high it should be selling for, but there are laws that if you advertise something, you have to go by that advertisement price for that local area / state or province / country / region, or sell for less, also depending on the laws in which country, and region.

3. People buy things because of few reasons because:

- It's popular, such as you seen Streamers, Youtubers using the *whatever* product, or because your friends has it, and want to fit in with the crowd.

- You were convince it's a good product to get, and/or thought it was a cool product to get, because of the looks only.

- Someone didn't know what to gift someone, so it's the same one of the two reasons above why they buy it to gift to someone in the 1st place.

1. It's a nasty way to get money, and that's what i'm trying to say

2. Think of it like this: if you sell a bottle of water in a fancy schmanchy bottle for 10$ you'd look like a ♥♥♥♥, thus Razer does look like

3. -Can they not think for themselves?
-If someone would buy something that looks better than a cheaper version of it and is not, they will only buy it once and never again, right?
-Razor is too expensive to gift someone to.

i have the v1, and my sister has the v2. having used both the v2 does sound quite better, I don't know about yours though

if you put an unbranded mice of the same type next to one with a brand logo on it, you can be certain the branded one will cost 2x to 5x as much because of the logo.

it has been my experience that unbranded items can last longer than branded options usually and cost far less.

For some reason I doubt you do...

If someone happy with what they got, then they're happy with what they got, and isn't anyone else problem. If someone isn't happy with what they got, they can only kick themselves for getting it in the 1st place, and still isn't anyone problem. If you're unhappy because you could of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something better, and/or cheaper, nothing can be done about it, again still isn't any one problem, It's not rocket science.
