Anyone else who wants to compete has to seize control of it, lest someone else does. And so goes the slippery slope of the left. I'm not a huge fan of that. It's also why Libertarians like me hilariously accuse people of Communism for wanting a speed limit sign put in.

If you follow the original communist ideology the communism is the last step before anarchy and libertarian ideology.
I am not communist but i am a a leftist i still consider state power as a necessity to control greed, crime and most of humans sins but with democracy.
Libertarian ideology may be appealing but i consider it naive , anarchy or any system without a state control will result in the power of the strong over others. May it be corporations, religious factions or crime barons.
Liberty only exist when controled, economicaly or socialy.

Looking at countries like Iran when Mosaddegh was democratically elected, or even countries some of which had western supported "dictators", like Iraq and Libya, or others like Syria, they were pretty secular and even socialist type systems with control of their own resources etc. and spending on development, education, healthcare, and so on. So of course that wasn't allowed. And now they are in a mess of religious fundamentalism and conflict.

Or, you know, the state. As long as it is only given power to protect neutral and negative rights through constitutional law, the state can be a force for good. Libertarians, of the former classical liberal variety before our name was stolen form us, are not anrachists. We're minarchists.

As does individual power - otherwise you get people like crazy ol' Caligula in charge, or get the Minamata disaster with no chain of accountability and responsibility.

So that's why we invented checks and balances. But of course, most people think those should be used in such a way that they are guaranteed to stay ahead.

You can blame feminism if you like to not be paid as a man, if you enjoy being harassed for your gender, if your only duty is to have children and open legs.
You can blame feminism if you think that using power is a good way to get laid and rape.
Feminism can be for some members an extrem answer to an extrem situation as communism was to children labour and workers poverty
