Anime OVA's aimed at adults.
I'm a big fan of 1980's and 90's R rated anime movies like Ninja Scroll, Wicked City, Akira, Violence Jack (Well, the first OVA, the other 2 suck pretty hard), Ghost in the shell, Vampire Wars, Golgo 13, stuff like that.

Any recommendations?
No borderline hentai or a series with 57 episodes please.

I have a few I could recommend.

Urotsukidōji or, Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend.

La Blue Girl

Genocyber

Bio Hunter

Ignore the first two if you don't like hentai.

I've seen Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend and it's pretty insane. A bit too rapey for me but the animation style is exactly what i'm looking for.
Bio Hunter looks awesome but wow....that's expensive for dvds man.

Yeah... have to pay up for the good stuff unfortunately. You might be able to view some of them online, but i'm not sure to be completely honest with you.

Yep i had to buy Wicked City from South Korea and it wasn't cheap but luckily it was awesome so it was worth it.
I've been trying to find M.D. Geist for a decent price for a while now but that's another expensive one.

Have you tried Ebay? You can sometimes find stuff like that for a decent price - that's how I got my copies of the M.D. Geist films at the time.
I misread the title on my phone, and posted incorrectly.

Allow me to correct that...

Bubblegum Crisis/Crash
A.D. Police
Battle Angel
Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise
Green Legend Ran
Record of Lodos War (Although that might be a little long at 24 episodes)
Black Magic M-66
Dominion Tank Police
Area 88

Hm, good stuff. Except for Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise. Don't care for it - was boring - in my opinion. Looks good in my VHS collection though.

I'd say Boku no Pico if it wasn't a sinful story of a sexualised young trap.

Area 88.

I actually have no idea what OVA means, but I did watch the Area 88 OVA on YT.
