Takeshi's Challenge and Sasuke Ninja Warrior were golden. I used to watch it with my family back when it aired on TV, and we were always cheering for some Makoto Nagano fellow.

I remember I used to watch Ninja Warrior on G4 back when they started to show it years ago. It was the only non video game related show I liked on G4.

Then they got crazy and pretty much killed off the whole point of it being a video game channel some reason.

I do not think it even has video games on the channel now.
