Games with Roleplay communities!

Hey guys and gals!

I'm looking for games which also have various roleplaying communities.
I already know of:
Conan Exiles
Age of Conan
World of Warcraft.

But, these aren't appealing to me at the moment, so does anyone else have any other games that they know of which have a good RP community?

I'm honest, i believe WoW and Conan Exiles are the only good ones left. The others aren't even worthmentioning. Still pretty active in WoW; not sure about Conan Exiles though.

ESO could be a case aswell, but probably a small community. FF XIV ... yeah probably not.
I tried Life is Feudal at this point but those people encouraging some sort of RP Server are usually very bad and i'm a person that needs alot of immersion around at this point and WoW and Conan were the only games with a proper community around. Never tried in ESO.

Not into RP but DayZ is a strong contender. Look up STALKER Beyond if you are into STALKER. It's a heavily modified DayZ RP server in the STALKER universe. And if you are just into RP in general and not into the source material

The server rules say that your character must know little to nothing about the game world. So being oblivious to STALKER might be a plus. If you are new to the game world of STALKER, this sure sounds like an interesting and very different way to learn about the Zone.

Old post but its the first one I get when I search up the topic in 2024,

but gta rp which i believe works because trolls are immersive in florida cities,

mount and blade which is most medieval and mass multiplayer,

and vrchat where i saw a streamer larp a magic academy server once, but I think that requires scheduling and getting whitelisted

i know this is a super old thread but are you still into RP? i am trying to find people to RP with again myself. I am currently playing Ark to fill the hole. seems like gta is the only thing people roleplay in anymore
