ESO could be a case aswell, but probably a small community. FF XIV ... yeah probably not.
I tried Life is Feudal at this point but those people encouraging some sort of RP Server are usually very bad and i'm a person that needs alot of immersion around at this point and WoW and Conan were the only games with a proper community around. Never tried in ESO.

The server rules say that your character must know little to nothing about the game world. So being oblivious to STALKER might be a plus. If you are new to the game world of STALKER, this sure sounds like an interesting and very different way to learn about the Zone.
but gta rp which i believe works because trolls are immersive in florida cities,
mount and blade which is most medieval and mass multiplayer,
and vrchat where i saw a streamer larp a magic academy server once, but I think that requires scheduling and getting whitelisted
