New gaming chair is making me play like trash in every game.

I assumed getting a 'gaming chair' for gaming would make me play better and be great, but no. First off it leans back so I can't stay in a good position, and the arm rests don't go where I want them to go. I'm doing trash in everything: fortnite, csgo, rust, r6, EVERYTHING. like wtf? A $9 chair makes me get LEM anda $467 gaming chair gets me s4? I guess I aint goin back to cs

No seriously, your chair has nothing at all to do with this. However: like buying a new pair of shoes and expecting to be able to walk 3 miles without issue, your body has to get used to the newness and differences.

So if you're sitting differently, as long as it's *comfortable*, you will get used to it.

In the mean time, don't blame your crappy performance on a chair. That's just sad.

It isn't worth it at all. You can get a really good chair from an office store between $25 - $50 depending on if it is on sale.

Honestly a great chair for me is probably a rolly office chair, with a standard back-height (i.e. not the "executive" kind), and slightly high relative to the table so my arms can rest comfortably on it even when I'm slumping.

Beyond that I have few needs.

To be honest when I buy a chair I just buy what ever feels the nicest to sit in. I do not care how I do as long as I am feeling pretty damn good. That is all that matters in the long run. And to be honest I need a new chair. I am getting tired of sitting on a hard wooding chair with my ass everyday for the past few years lol.
