Left thumb on my left side shift button!

I press my left shift button with my thumb and when my friends realized i did it, they said that it was a wierd way of doing it since they just use there pinky's. is it a bad way (do i have to change to pinky) or is it okay and i can keep using it? My pinky is on caps lock, the three next is wasd and imagine your thumb goes from spacebar to shift.

Whatever works I guess. I imagine that you'll end up with some sort of weird thumb tendon issues further down the road though.

I actually researched a little i found out it can help a little by having your thumb on shift, cause you move it and don keep it stilll. More possibilty of tendon if youre fingers are still rather than moving.

I mean like seriously how is that even possible?? I just tried it and it actually made my hand hurt... Not to mention I also pressed z, x, alt, and the windows key with it.

every peoplel with pïnky that tries with thumb always says it's hard but i bet youre all doing it a crazy way because you think its crazy.

I've done it a few times before but I really dislike having my thumb curled in that position.
