Casuals suck.
Not because they are bad at games or cant 'git gud' nothing like that.

It is because they pretty much destroyed the industry, because they are the people in game microtransactions are aimed at, they are the people the reason P2W exist, and theyre the reason lootboxes are a thing.

Prime example is GTA V, it doesnt have lootboxes but it does have the ability to mass purchase money via in game MT's and seemingly a lot of people who cant be bothered with playing the game do so. Understandably, because the game is made so that the grinding is as terrible as possible.

Im not an elitist in any way, i just want to play games to have some fun and thats it, but jeez i detest the tedency of games getting adapted to squeeze as much money out of those weak minded suckers as possible, and ruining the experience for anyone who doesnt feel like throwing extra money onto a game they already paid a full price for.

Yeah, I can tell you're obviously a totally elite gamer and games suck because of everyone else...but not you. You're obviously way too cool for everyone here.
No, at the end of the day its facts that way more casual gamers accept pay to win games because they don't notice how annoying it is because most of the time they don't spend more than an hour on a game like that.

Casuals players are by far the most toxic players I have dealt with.

Oh I see "its facts" you say? Saying "its facts" doesn't actually make something a fact, so surely you've got some actual "facts?"

Ha, yeah well i think most hardcore gamers hours on a game says it all if you ask me. Most hardcore gamers spend alot of time on games to the point where they could grind to get most items they want but getting there is a nightmare due to low level people with insane high stat weapons. Now im not saying that for all hardcore gamers but alot of them due to how it gives them something to work for with all their hours. Now casual gamers with the low time they might have, they find it more easy to take the money path instead of spending hours to grind for 1 thing.

I don't know, I'd rather play with someone called pokemom2000 who is screaming down the mic because I stole his car in GTAV than play with someone who screams at you for being a bad player.

Blame then Hardcore players they , it is by them that came microtransactions and loot boxes, not by casuals.
Casuals dont come to get the best gear or be on top ranks but just to have a small moment of fun.
Between casuals and harcore gamers the difference is the time in the game. What is the interest for a casual to buy high stuff ? None , they just enjoy their small moment in the game.
Look at for exemple scamming n cheats and skin madness in counter strike, they dont come by casuals but by hardcore games who ego destroy the fun for all others.
I believe the correct term that OP should've used is "mainstream" gamers and your definition for hardcore gamers is horrible and incorrect.
The real "hardcore" gamers that have a brain wouldn't buy the sharkcards (basically, won't support grubby business practices) or play GTAO to begin with because they know they won't have a good time and there's the possibility of getting falsely banned like many people have reported.
I agree that my defination of hard core can be offensive but as is the definition of casuals.
The same self said elite gamers are thoses who make most online games by harassing or being vulgar with thoses not having thei rlast skin or their "skillz".
I am a gamer since years, yes i buy dlcs ( for crusader kings 2 for exemple) but have a rash when i see the comments of gamergates elites.
You dont like skins and loot boxes, right dont buy them
You dont like newbies, help them to improve, dont bash them.
YOu dont like girls or minorities in gaming , become a monk .
I dont have a problem with Casuals i have a problem with self said gaming elites.
They are the first to make gaming toxic

The worst normies you'll meet are the ones clucking and doing the Micheal Rosen "Nice" over and over because HAHAHA MEMES ARE SO FUNNY, IF I COPY THEM, PEOPLE WILL THINK I'M FUNNY.

I find casual players have said far worse things to me than any competitive players and also intentionally throw matches more often. They also complain anytime something gets nerfed.

Ha, i find casuals get mad when i kill them 10 times, not all of them but quite a few.

i mean just look at the mobile market lmao, the absolute state thats in and how many gaming companies are aching to implement its methods.

oh and yea, that market is FULL of casuals.

Theres a reason there was no storyline DLC for GTA V, and thats because its simply not lucrative enough to give players something they buy once and can enjoy forever.

Theres a reason so much companies have been focussing their game and updates to revolve around ''whales'' (casuals with money) because they are not just customers who paid 60$ for the game upfront, but also those who will spend another 500$ or more on in game lootboxes or currency so they dont have to grind to get what they want, or just to get that one hyperexclusive skin that noone else will look at.

Appeasing to gamers, wether it are hard core gamers or casuals who dont have money isnt profitable anymore, not by a long stretch, appeasing to those who are so weakminded that theyd pay a 1000$ to get a new paint on their weapon however is big business these days.

And games get adapted to that, people will deny that every time, but its very obvious games will make their grind as boring, or in GTA's case, as cancerous as possible. so people will throw their money at them because they cant be arsed to play the game.

meanwhile those who just want fun new content or a storyline expansion get shown the door.

Ha, yeah well i think...

Sure, what you "think" does not equal "its facts" kid.

How much money versus how much time you spend in a game doesn't really matter. If you play and support games with microtransactions then according to your logic, you're part of the problem.

He's not necessarily wrong. These sorts of games where you can pay to win are in part caused by casuals being lazy.

They can call us whatever they damn well please, it won't phase me as I'm used to it, had a recent "shouting at" by some casuals on sea of thieves a few weeks ago and it was just hilarious, they try so hard to offend you, bless them.

It's when someone who has a ton more hours and refined skills in a game such as CSGO or any typical MMO who puts you down for having fun, the whole concept isn't really universal though, everyone is different and reacts differently so pros and casuals can both be as bad.
And I don't like toxic people who tell others what to buy and what not. They ruin others' experience too.
