NHL on PC?
I have NHL 18 on PS4 but I really want to play the hockey games on PC. As far as I know, EA stopped releasing the ports after NHL 09. Out of the ones that were released, which game is the best as far as playability? Hopefully, EA Sports will some day bring their games back to PC (other than FIFA) but it probably won't happen :(

This https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/en/index.html is likely the closest you're ever going to get.

Madden is coming to pc this year. Maybe we will get lucky, if Madden community isn't a ♥♥♥♥ fest full of cheaters, they'd prob look at bringing other sports games back as well. NHL was always my favorite one, but I know I'm asking a lot of the community to not to completely ruin it with thier immaturity

NHL has always been a fun game to play... I can remember playing 2001 on PC over and over at least until my Desktop got fried in thunder and lightning storm lol... The disk was fried by then I went to console and bought a few seasons here and there. NHL Hitz 2003 was a lot of fun for just fighting and hitting people but actually hockey not so much..

I was really disappointed to find that after I left Console coming to PC NHL was only a console game... Even thought I've bought a digital copy for XBOX One you can't play it through the microsoft's XBOX thing... Like WTF...

I could careless about playing against other's online I just want to play NHL my PC like I can with any other game. Cheaters will always be there regardless of what platform the game is on, not that it matter's in my situation.... Since my Internet is piss poor slow lol I can play online but I get a slight lag.

You all need to check out NHL 2004 Rebuilt.

NHL was spectacular. Just something about playing in a stadium with people involved, the atmosphere even in game was just amazing.

Maybe a bit boring of a game by today's standards, whatever they might be but it's a simulation and that's always good in my book.
I think I still have a copy of nhl 2005 or 2008 somewhere ... it's fun but more the kind of thing I play once a year and forget it's even exist , yet I would probably consider buying a nhl 2019 or 2020 if it was at an affordable price.

please go support the thread. i dont know how much more logic i can use in my pursuit, so maybe a bunch of comments would work?

https://forums.ea.com/en/nhl/discussion/232329/ea-nhl-sales-end-of-hockey-gaming

This shows that ea sells 100-300k copies of their nhl game a year.

https://gameworldobserver.com/2023/05/22/tape-to-tape-revenue-marketing-steam-hockey-game

this link shows a new hockey game, from a developer noone knows, with no marketing budget, and not licensed sold over 34,000 copes in the first 8 days it launched on pc.

now please ea community managers, explain to me again how there isnt a market for hockey games on pc. I used to buy nhl every year for consoles, i stopped at 22. i will not buy another console just to play hockey. get with the times.

here is a reddit thread about this as well

update

the thread over on ea servers is the top thread there now. If we had more people asking for it maybe a higher up would see it and be like make this now. shrug emogji

Yes, because petitions encourage corporations to violate their contractual obligations all the time....

we can always dream right. but if we get enough actual support for it maybe they would actually do it.
