How EB Games (Gamestop) is overpriced.
EB Games sells Mario Kart Wii for the same price as Mario Kart 8. That is very overpriced for a game that can't even connect online anymore.

Gamestop is cheap as heck vs nintendo's eshop prices. Even with nintendo rewards discounts I still usually find it cheaper buying used from gamestop.

Nintendo doesn't pass on a dime of saving going digital to its customers in my experience.

i know, but at least nintendo doesn't sell a game from 10 years ago at the same price to a game from 4 years ago.

I mean maybe not 10, but theres some 2011 games in eshop for 3ds at 30 bucks, like mario kart 7.

EB Games is a NZ / Australia store.

Here in NZ:

- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch) costs $87 NZD
- Mario Kart (Nintendo Wii) costs $58 NZD

Still pretty overpriced / standard, but they normally have 2 for $50, 2 for $100, etc... deals.

Woah, hey guys.

Op should contact various store abd lett them know your concern. Either stopp selling it because its unusable product or sell it so dirt cheap it would not matter for costumer.

Yep, I had to fork over $100 for Sea of Thieves instead of ~$70 - $80 which is how much a non Steam game costs here.

Sorry for your loss, 100 is a lot for a demo.

Meh, it was worth it since I got to play with one of my friends for the first time who's on Xbox.

I don't mind paying more when the customer service is good which is almost never at eb games, they sell some pretty neat stuff at their little collectable shops though.

Console stores. Meh. I get collectibles there but that's it. The "PC Racks" always have the same 5 games.
