Does anyone else remember Superhero Static Shock?

It was a show about a kid who had electricity powers, and he'd fight crime with his best friend, until he accidentally hurt his friend, then the tone slightly changed, and Batman would become a recurring character, and they'd fight The Joker or find and help mutants.

I only watched the classic bad quality animation one from my childhood on UPN. He was still fresh on the cartoon bracket. He had no partners yet. He flew on trash lids and fought other dc lesser properties.

Now and days you might be talking about the reboot, as in the one I watched had no Batman cameos.
