How can I skip the first 2 missions in Just Cause 2 game? Mod not working.

I cannot load a skip first 2 missions mod savegame. I downloaded it from justcause2mods.com This. https://justcause2mods.com/mods/skip-intro-save-game/ I go into the game to load that savegame mod but it does not let me load that savegame. It only says start new game or continue.

Most likely because the game isn't known for mods. Just start a new game..

Sorry for being ignorant about this but what is it about the two missions that make you want to skip them?

I do not want to have to do them. I want to get to the freeroam part. Thats why i bought the game.

I don't want to do the opening, I just want to play the sandbox

I got a hot tip, do the first two chapters anyway and have fun doing it. The time you spent here and the time wasted getting mods down could have attributed to playing the actual game and getting where you wanted to go.
