Earthbound: How do I beat Giygas?

I know, I'm late for the party. But I just got Earthbound on my 3DS a few months back and been playing it almost non-stop. Such a fun game, I feel bad for missing out on it on the SNES, but we never owned that console.

Anyhow, I made it aaaaall the way to Giygas, but I can't beat him.
I've heard that Paula's prayers can hurt him and I've done so until she no longer can't. Everyone keeps dying and Ness' and Poo's PP drains way too fast so I can't revive or heal them all after a few rounds.

You gotta be pretty high leveled with good gear. I'm sure you've noticed that the game is pretty difficult throughout when it comes to jrpgs. The final boss is extra difficult. You may need to grind level for a bit

Ness is around lvl 98 I think, Paula is the lowest leveled so far, and she's lvl 78. From what I know, we have the best gear there is. I've been sure to buy new gear from every new town I visit.

Pray with Paula 9 times, it is the only way to kill him.

Whatever you do, keep her alive

What about Pokey? Ignore him and just pray?

Whatever you have to do to keep Paula alive so she can pray 9 times is the only way to win.

There is literally no other option

Good luck to you, I recently got it on Wii U but I have beaten it over 20 years ago. I cannot remember everything but with the way you kill him you can’t NOT remember that
