VAC has issues. One of them is that you will get kicked if you're downloading something or when your sister streams her soap opera's on a 4k TV. Ping doesn't get really high but you still get kicked by VAC.
Imo Battleye is the best anti cheat software out there. I have been playing rainbow six siege for about 8 months now and only encountered cheaters twice. Best part is when someone does get banned it will name shame them on the top right corner to everyone playing the game. More games should implement this feature.

i agree , the name & shame battlEye does makes it noticeable , while i never played with these banned players it still gives you a good feeling to know Cheaters got banned , all you know from VAC is the discussions here that are mostly in russian and get locked by mods

yeah since VAC bans are always delayed to make sure players suffer longer until cheaters get banned

No, I think it's to catch more cheaters in the long run and to try to avoid alerting a cheater to which hack was detected.

No vac is quite bad but that doesnt mean it doesnt do its job, its just slow and outdated. some of the best anti cheats are battleye and fairfight
