GT is the oldest in the time line.

With GT's one and only movie taking place when the other z fighters are all dead, except for Pan whos now old. And one of goku's grandchildren/great grandchild.

Well I'm only on the DBZ namek saga so about episode 47 or so. I'm pretty new to the series as a whole. I'm loving it so far though. Honestly one of the best things I've ever seen

GT itself is pretty lame, I didn't even care to see every episode. But I did see the end.

People still argue if GT is even cannon.

That leads me to another question. I know there are quite a few DBZ movies (over 10 I think). Do they just take place in between sagas or should I wait to watch any of them until I'm done with all of the anime?

I dunno, the movies are usually thier own villian(s) who doesn't appear in the regular show. Except garlic junior. A lot of movies are freak'n brolly, and his many returns.

The last movie With beerus, battle of gods I think. If your going to watch super it spreads the movie out into a whole arc. So if you see the movie, you'll end up seeing it twice, with minor changes.

Dragon Ball Z kai is just a HD version of Dragon Ball Z without the filler but it doesn't have the decent music Dragon Ball Z used to have.

Canon order is: Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z/kai/ Dragon Ball Super and then Dragon Ball GT as a spin off as a lot of the stuff in super undermines GT.

Some of it, not worth watching until it's finished in my opinion, I like to watch my show episodes back to back rather than wait weeks between each episode with "hype" over the cliff hanger which always ends up guessing what a new "form" is.
