Does Low FPS give anyone else motion sickness?
When i play games that have a low framrate i get motion sickness.
"The talos principle" also gives me motion sickness. What could it be that some games give me motion sickness. Do games give anyone else the same feeling?

Low fps with motion blur might give me one.

But as someone who's been playing Dynasty Warriors games and games on a horrible computer, low framerate isn't that big of a deal to me, unless it's constantly really really low.

In Virtual Reality, this has a huge impact on motion sickness.

On a standard monitor, not so much, but yes still can have an impact.

Understand the human eye doesn't see in FPS, that is a myth. You can happily watch a 24 FPS continuous rate movie without issue. The brain just dislikes flickering, jumps of edge animation, and sudden drops/changes in FPS. Hense higher the resolution/quality of image and closer to the image you are, higher the FPS is better. The brain is smart enough, it will actually calculate and fill in the missing gaps for you. This is known as movie magic (as an excuse for consoles, etc) but is really bad for your health, actually stressing out the brain to the point of developing headaches, motion sickness, etc.

Some games, tvs and crappy monitors even add a motion blur on purpose to hide the factor of FPS lag. Again for some people, this gives a sickening effect.

I remember having an old machine, I was always playing at really low fps (like 10, could be 20 or more though), didn't bother me much. I can still manage 30 fps, but now I'm so adjusted to 144hz that it'd be hard to play.

Low FPS gives me a really bad headache.

Lol for about 6 years I played games with 5-22 FPS, no motion sicknesses.
I am immune to this sickness.

Yep. I also get motion sickness from low fps (30).
Small FOV makes it even worse.
FPS not really

FOV really has an effect ... not sure I would call it motion sickness though, more of a headache type of thing.

Wow necromancers ha ha

Yeah no doubt, playing at 60 FPS feels unnatural at times.
i think you will find your motion sickness will improve the more
you play the games that give you motion sickness... but it does take time...
if it is motion sickness and not bad vision

your brain does try and work for you in some cases.... again... it does take time....
