BF1. Not a hard choice since I haven't played any other Battlefield.

Battlefield 4
Honestly, I enjoyed playing BF4 more than BF1. The gunplay was great, Conquest was better in BF4 than in BF1, it has tons of great contents that brings me back to the game, the customisation feels more satisfying and it's more balanced surprisingly.

I have spent countless hours in both Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2

Battlefield 3 was probably the best one for me.

Played some Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1, but burned out quick.

BF4 was a lot of fun even though it felt like a BF3 expansion. It looks nicer but they didn't really do anything new.
Bad Company 2 is best one IMO.

Only played a bit of BF1 and no other Battlefield games but assuming they are of the same quality there are countless near-future war shooters but WW1 is exceptionally rare, especially ones with a single-player campaign (even one as short as Battlefield's).

Enjoyed Battlefield 4 a lot back when I liked playing MP, hundreds of hours in that. Campaign in Battlefield 1 was good but not into MP these days so didn't play it much.
