Was ghost in the shell any good OP?
Blood, cool manly characters, badass songs, badass deaths, tons of death, mohawks, giant bandit enemies, women, etc.
I must warn you, if you have a knack of space operas with an insane amount of political intrigue and long drawn out battles. You will get sucked in.
Even if you arent a fan of anime, LOGH doesn't play off the typical tropes, so it doesn't really even feel like one: https://myanimelist.net/anime/820/Ginga_Eiyuu_Densetsu
edit: oh and there is a movie.
They have quite a few movies as well as OVA episodes (Kenshiro Zero Den comes to mind), I'd watch them. None of them have good endings, though.
There's also Heroic Age, it's about NOT-mechas (aliens) fighting other NOT-mechas. They're revered as gods.
They had one battle where Bellcross fought two gods, one who had the ability to control timelines, and the other who was a poison "god". He somehow won even though she went through like 300 timelines.
It has the guy who plays thorin from the hobbit movies as the main characters voice.
Violence is brutal, animation is superb, and story is pretty cool. Can't wait for the next season.
