So tell me what's your favourite anime genre and why is it?
You can mix these genre as well

Also, what kind of story plot or characters that you would like to see in an anime?
For example: Someone that is badass and never gets beaten by everyone or someone that is funny but does not speak much at all

I do realy enjoy a good romance anime.

And i enjoy historical, semi-realistic action shows but i have maby seen 2 or 3 shows that fit those category, and even those shows werent realy historical nor realistic.

I'd recommend watching Youjo Senki, it's in another world but it is similar to world war 1 and ww2
It's basically a ww1+ww2 with magic users being the planes because they can fly but still shoots using those classic rifles with exploding ammo
It also has full action but It's half realistic ( well, you know... magic exist there but the magic is not too much overused anyways)
It's a great anime and I really liked it( one of my top fav anime )

If I had to pick an absolute fave genre, Sci-fi, particularly with an action or psychological sub-genre. Examples? Ghost in the Shell, Trigun, Ergo Proxy, Psycho Pass, Gun x Sword, Bubblegum Crisis.

I dont really like anime but I'd imagine I would like comedy and horror the most.

I'd suggest you watch Sakamoto Desu Ga (comedy) It's one of the funniest anime series

I've only watched 2 anime shows from start to finish in my entire life, FLCL because it was short and Serial Experiments Lain.

So action / psychological.

If I had to pick an absolute fave genre, Sci-fi, particularly with an action or psychological sub-genre. Examples? Ghost in the Shell, Trigun, Ergo Proxy, Psycho Pass, Gun x Sword, Bubblegum Crisis.

Action/Adventure Abridged series. Dragon Ball Z Abridged (TeamFourStar) is a prime example. That or something like the first season of Oreimo.

Used to love SciFi/Psychological stuff like GitS, Ergo Proxy, Evangelion, Berserk, etc. but sadly, I appear to have lost the ability to take such shows/films seriously, and thus have lost interest. Now all I want to do is laugh at witty vulgarity and ridiculous gags and innuendo.

So now you're into Action/Adventure/Comedy genre? Maybe you're lifestyle has changed or you've grown much more differently which changed your interests

InuYasha is an amazing anime indeed
I didn't watch SAO yet and I certainly never watched Sonic X though
