Yeah, bayonetta is actually close to both of your games. You also fight giant bosses and gods there. You literally fight a god as big as a planet or something.

Dust: An Elysian Tail, it's a hack n' slash metroidvania. May not be what you are looking for, but well worth playing it at least once.

Fable is also good if you want a third person hack n' slash RPG.
