should cheating be illegal?
think of all the hours u spend in a game and how many of those hours have been ruined by aimbotters/speedhackers and no clippers.

obviously the rules now dont stop them from hacking and in free games like tf2 they just hack and hack and make a new account and do it again.

i say there should be international laws against this becuz quite frankly time is money and all that time ruined by cheaters is very costly if u think about it...i want 2 be able to sue cheaters and hackers and get some form of compensation and justice.

do u agree?

or do u think this is a bit 2 x-treme?

Well it can't be illegal
Most of the soulless people will just say "it's just a game"
Yup, including police officer

Police, prosecutors and courts really have more important things to do than dealing with people cheating in video games.
yeah like what going after innocent pot smokers? id rather they fine or jail game hackers
Well i don't know if you're american or not but our jails and prisons are already overpopulated. For the millions who cheat, we would have to create a whole new system for kids and we would lose money that way. I think a fine is good but the problem with that could be that some people cheat in single player or simply have other windows open that have nothing to do with the game and they will get banned for hacking. The cheating detecting systems aren't good enough to accurately catch hackers anyway.

I mean the examples of cheating that were used are relevent to the topic of video game cheaters, i was simply just adding onto something someone else was saying. Don't act like i stopped people from commenting directly about gaming cheaters. I just said one little thing that no one had to reply to. It's not a big deal.
You started talking about cheating on ones spouse, which is derrailing, but lets stop this before its derrailed again.
Cheating on someone's spouse and cheating on a video game is very similar, that's why they both share a word. I'm pretty sure it's not against the rules to give examples, otherwise i think we'd all be banned. But whatever dude. I'm so wrong..

okay its not the same at all cheating on ur spouse is much more rude than cheating IN a game.

cheating on =/= cheating in thats what ur big mistake is...there is a come uppance coming ur way
Imagine if you spend 10000+ hour on GTAV and 100000$ real life money for shark cards
And then those cheaters make you lost the money and crack your game, make you get banned (maybe illegal, or you could just track his ip and actually give it shot in the head irl, and it's illegal)

Well it's not very similar, i'm wrong, i take that back, but they both include breaking the rules, so they are comparable to the extent. You cannot tell me they aren't.
cheating in an E-sport - yeah, because its basically stealing money.

cheating in an onlie game? a capital offense? HELL NO. yeah, its ruining everyone's fun, but that's why admins, mods and votekick functions exist. to treat cheaters a criminal is bloody insane.
the next step is to arrest people who call you noob during the game

I feel you bro they should fine those E-Sport gamers and they shouldn't be allowed to play again.
Why is marriage outdated? It's just an agreement that two people will make a family, procreate, make a better stand together with also "financial union". Both become owners of property and in case someone dies, the other one gets proparty that deceased relatives don't try to get everything and make the living spouse lose everything.
This isn't medieval or new age that people sing seranades, make romantic vows, there is no need for that. Also, marriage isn't outdated, even during medieval times it was rarely practised, people lived engaged and marriage was just a formality, not that they were so thrilled about it.
I know some people who live together without marriage, and their lives are mostly messed up: a woman would give a birth, leave partner or get kicked out, live with someone else afterwards... not just that it's risky because partners can get separated just like that, also any children will suffer because they won't have a constant other parent, not mentioning that if your partner dies, you're in the street tomorrow.

Also, about cheating in games.. not sure if there is a way to stop cheating, but demanding high penalty is just silly, it will take time and money to find them, how much money would you demand for compensation?
As long as they don't do it for financial gains/competitive gains. (speedruns and tournaments for example)

In the end of the day it boils down to the admins; not the law.
There is no way to stop cheaters
You got toxic community blaming you if you don't cheat and no skill
Lots of people can't handle it so they cheated :P simple, we ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the whole community
I don't think a country would pass a law for something that doesn't affect it. My personal opinion is that online cheating shouldn't be something that gets you in jail.
