Yes, how a two hour movie made one character go from a Jedi hero to someone who murders children and force chokes his wife with little justification.
At least the clone wars series tried to put a band aid on the dark side progression but it still doesn't work, people don't just murder children.

if u watch the clone wars tv show it makes the progression make a bit more sense.
