You do realise that the Xbox One and PS4 share several major components, right? They're cousins at the very least.

Yes, I know they are architecturally similar. The only thing they share is the GPU and CPU, other components are from different manufacturer.
And yet those are the two most important components, the ones with the most effect on performance potential. They're effectively the engine of the console.
