So pokemon crystal came out 3 days ago. Did you get it?

I've never played it, but people like to praise it non-stop. I've already got gold version...So it'll have to be a pass for me. Even when its only ten dollars.

Still, Why do you think its so widely praised? To me pokemon emerald blows almost any other game out the water with all its endgame content and breath of fresh air pokemon.

For moving game sprites, gen 5 has to be the best.

I got a mod for HeartGold that replaces Lyra with Kris, then realized that I had no way to get the mod off my computer and onto the cartridge. So I returned the game to GameStop and got a different pre-owned game instead.

Kinda hard for the remakes to be worse than the originals.

Though in some ways I do hate the remakes more, such as a forced lugia/ho-oh fight.

Well, Gold and Silver are regarded to be the best in the series by most fans, and seeing how crystal is an upgraded version of Gold and silver....then I can see why it would be most people's favorite title

Anyway, a friend gave me 70 dollars eshop munnies recently. Dunno what to get.

Leaning towards Fantasy life, as I just finished up Rune factory 4. But I have a 30% discount on ever oasis or smash if I want those.

I didn't even remember crystal let you pick a female character. I guess it makes sense the first pokemon game to have a female playable character was called Crystal.

I think it might have been planned for Gold/Silver too but just didn't get finished in time or something.

It was planned for the original games, but they ran out of space. Or so they say.
