Serious question, do you know ANYONE who actually bought WinRar?

I don't know about you, but i doubt i would even think of buying it if i was richest person on earth. What's the point? Am i missing something here?

Good question.. I mean.. What does the paid version actually do? I mean, I'd assume it allows you to compress files so you can upload them?

You can do that on the phone for free. I haven't tried that out on computer yet.

I have had the same WInRar program forever. The 30-45 day trial expired ages ago. But it still lets me extract compressed files. Why pay any money when it still works?

If you work in Corporate you would know that companies are not allowed to use Freewares.
