'Dawn of war' until soulstorm is great. It's a bit old though.
Ah yes i have played that one, it is great fun but i found the singleplayer very easy.

You think so? Dow 1 and winter assault were easy ... yes. But I remember that the highest difficulty on dark crusade and soulstorm was a bit tricky... to me at least.
Maybe I need to try a harder rts game lol

I haven't played it myself, but it's popped up on my radar:

Red Alert 3 is pretty easy to get into imo, and there aren't tons of menus like many RTS games. It isn't as good as the old ones but hey.

Id suggest Total War Warhammer

Others than that I recommend Starcraft 2 (you can get a free mod to play SC1 in SC2's engine)
Red Alert 2 (skip one it didnt age as well)
Command & Conquer 3
Warcraft 3 was pretty interesting in story
Age of Empires 2
Crusader

Not REALLY an RTS but you should look into Overlord. Its a single player game where you control one evil knight that has an army of imps that you control like if it were an RTS. Really fun honestly.

If you like RTS tower defense
I HIGHLY recommend Defense Grid 1 and 2. They are hard and easy so you basically pick your posion on settings and the challenge levels are intense

Okay I have to admit it I would love to play Stellaris. But could anyone maybe link me to some videos or give your advice here maybe some guide sites anything to help me learn it and play it without checking on a tutorial every second.

Age of Empires, Age of Mythology, Stronghold, Empire Earth and Rise of Nations are pretty friendly.

This guide has a lot of good information.

My advice would be too just play and slowly learn. If you loose in your first playthrough (its a high chance) than its not bad. You will improve and know how to win the next time.

And if you have DLC that you can play as robots than play as them. Because you wont need to worry about some stuff like food and revolts.

Rome Total War is rather simple and fun

Medieval Total War 2 is also pretty fun

Other than that, I don’t really have any else. Europa Universalis IV is pretty good, but complex

The first RTS I played was Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. The campaign plot is absurd but the gameplay is pretty fun.
Tis sounds and looks pretty interesting, I'll look into it.
If your getting C&C, I'd suggest going to Origin and getting the $20 complete collection. IMO while Red Alert 3 was alright, the franchise peaked around the RA2/Generals era. The complete collection is the same price as RA3 on its own through Steam and will let you choose which one you like best.
